Mitas Tyres attended the Farm Progress Show with its range of farming tyres that cater for earth-friendly farming, as well as high bearing loads.

Illinois Holds Another Successful Farm Show

From 31st August 31– 2nd September Decatur held 2021’s Farm Progress Show. Mitas displayed its range of tyres alongside a Green Streak Pulling Team Tractor equipped with specific Mitas tractor pulling tyres designed for top traction. Here visitors could have photos taken as well as participate in scavenger hunts within the arena.

The HC 3000 R tyre was the big exclusive from Mitas. The recently launched tyre is ideal for harvesting machinery and other heavy agricultural equipment. It features a new rounded shoulder design and flexible sidewalls reinforced with VF construction. Also on display was the VF HC 1000 NRO (Narrow Rim Option) floatation tyre, specifically designed for self-propelled sprayers.

Marc Margossian, Mitas' Marketing Director North & Central America, said of the event and the company's product line: “For nearly 100 years, farmers have relied on Mitas tyres for their durability, high load capacity, gentle ground handling, fuel economy and traction. Show attendees could see for themselves how their agricultural business could benefit from tyres that keep pace with vehicle technology out in the field."
