With 804 tractor registrations in October of 50hp or above, the figures from the AEA (Agricultural Engineer’s Association) show a market revving to supersede 2020’s yearly total.

Signs Point to a Positive Finish for the Tractor Sector in 2021

In figures which will alleviate insiders in the agricultural sector, the market has recovered from the minor 3.3% decline for September - the only month this year to show a decline - and shown a strong increase in October. The 17.4% increase amounts to 119 more tractors registered than this time last October.

The current total of tractors registered this year-to-date is 10,656, against 8,954 the year before. While this is a lower figure than 2019’s 11,420, we can still infer that the market is increasing in confidence, like other agricultural markets across Europe, the U.S. and Asia.
