Goodyear Signs with Gestrans Valencia to Provide Service in the Port of Valencia

Goodyear has signed an agreement with Gestrans Valencia, a Transportation Solutions Management company, with which it will also provide services to the FVET (Valencian Federation of Transportation and Logistics Companies)Goodyear will offer a complete package of solutions that include much more than tyres.   

Goodyear Announces Gestrans Valencia Deal 

Gestrans Valencia is a transport company conglomerate mainly linked to the world of containers, which come together to address the needs of the sector. It is made up of 68 corporations that seek to facilitate access to additional services related to transportation. 

With this agreement, Goodyear will introduce itself to the port of Valencia, the largest in Spain and with the fourth most traffic in Europe. This is a logistics centre that receives more than 7,500 ships a year and creates employment for more than 15,000 people in the area. 

The agreement includes a complete suite of Goodyear solutions that can be accessed by all the companies that make up the Gestrans Valencia network. Its high-performing tyres, retreading service, personalised service and Goodyear Total Mobility solutions. Additionally, Goodyear's offering includes training for fleet managers on issues such as labeling or best practices to maximise tyre life. 

The companies that comprise Gestrans Valencia will be able to acquire the Goodyear Total Mobility package of mobility solutions, a set of mobility solutions based on new technologies that facilitate management tasks and tyre incidents for all types of fleets, large and little. Among the services that Gestrans Valencia now has at its disposal, we find the TruckForce and Serviline 24H service network, assistance services; Dealer Location, which facilitates access to specialised suppliers, and Proactive Solutions, a program of preventive solutions that monitors the condition of tyres.

"The fact that logistics companies that operate in such a busy port such as Valencia trust in our mobility solutions is a source of pride." 

Gestrans Valencia highlighted that Goodyear's excellent services can bring important benefits to the companies that are part of its network,  with the company joining a long list of fleets that turn to Goodyear's total mobility solutions.
