PCL’s latest, most advanced range of air connectors is fast gaining a proven track record of success with distributors, OEMs and end users alike providing positive feedback.
New Air Connector Range from PCL
Developed through extensive in-house and external testing, the new, improved design ensures zero air leakage, with a simple clockwise turn achieving an even stronger vice-like grip. Manufactured using the finest zinc alloy, aluminium and brass, the connectors are easy to operate, with a simple but effective thumb push button quickly releasing the tyre valve, reducing non-value-added time. Both hose tail fitting and female threaded versions are available.
They are already proving popular for the PCL’s Surrey-based Partner+ distributor, One Stop Air Shop (OSAS) Ltd - supplier of the company’s tyre inflation and compressed air products to garages, workshops and tyre shops across the UK mainland, Northern Ireland and Eire. MD Gary Crotty said “We have received excellent feedback from customers, the new air connector range now features 90-degree connectors which are great for those difficult to reach valves. There’s a large variety of threads and sizes available to suit our customers’ needs.”
Rotherham-based car service centre Walker Cutting has given PCL’s ¼ inch female threaded Air Connector the thumbs up. The single clip on CH2A01 does exactly what it says on the tin according to users at the Bosch-approved operation, with no issues reported. Director Gary Cutting, a time-served motor vehicle technician said: “The lads are getting on very well with these connectors, there has been no negative feedback at all. They stay connected to the valve with no signs of wear. Overall a good product.”
Category Manager Simon Alexander said: “I am extremely happy to hear that customers across the board are reporting even higher performance from our enhanced range, which brings the connector into the 21st century. PCL’s new advanced offering includes standard, straight connectors and also 90-degree connectors for those difficult to reach valves - such as those on today’s bigger, more intricately designed alloy and steel wheels which are difficult to reach by hand.
“This valuable feedback means customers across all of our channels worldwide can be confident that this core product now offers even higher performance whilst remaining as robust and reliable as ever - proving that once a PCL air connector is on, it stays on!”
