Michelin is currently introducing two new sizes of MICHELIN CrossGrip multi-purpose all-season tyres for backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders, telehandlers and small tractors.

Michelin Grows CrossGrip Tyre Range

With the new MICHELIN CrossGrip in the dimensions 440 / 80R 34 and 480 / 80R34, the tyre manufacturer is expanding its current range of all-year-rounders to a total of twelve sizes. These are available both as original equipment and in the replacement market.

“The MICHELIN CrossGrip has been a popular choice among our customers since it was launched in 2018. The expansion of the range to include these two new key sizes will make it even more attractive. The tyres work very well on many surfaces such as sports fields or grass verges and are particularly effective on unpaved surfaces as well as on ice and snow," shared Jürgen Ihl, Michelin Sales Director Off Highway Transportation Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The MICHELIN CrossGrip tyres are designed for the popular compact line vehicles, have a high load capacity and a special rubber compound for year-round use. With the non-directional profile, drivers can manoeuvre precisely, in both forward and reverse gear. An optimised profile design - with several attack edges - offers excellent traction.

Asymmetrical side blocks also improve the grip not only in winter conditions, in order to always ensure a high level of safety thanks to the good grip. With 196 tread blocks per wheel revolution, the MICHELIN CrossGrip tyres also improve driver comfort as they reduce vibrations.

The optimised arrangement of the tread blocks ensures that the tyre rolls evenly and in this way helps to protect the sward when used in grassland.
