Kappeler Contractor Values the Stability and Large Contact Area of Bridgestone Tyres

For Kappeler, a tyre must be gentle on the turf and have a high mileage due to the heavy wear and tear on hilly terrain. Kappeler has selected Bridgestone’s agricultural tyres to fit seven of their John Deere tractors, counting on greater efficiency and performance.

Kappeler Agricultural Tractors Fitted by Bridgestone 

From sowing to grassland to maize harvest - the requirements for the machine fleet of the family business Kappeler, a service company for agricultural and municipal work as well as the manufacture and trade of agricultural technology, are diverse. 

Just like Bridgestone, the focus is firmly on the customer at Kappeler: “In order to offer the best possible soil protection, we rely on the Bridgestone VT-Tractor with VF technology. In the field, too, we benefit from a large contact area that is very important to us, ”explains Bernhard Kappeler.

“The VT-Tractor VF in 900 / 50R42 offers us better driving behaviour with a high axle load and enables us to drive at 0.8 bar. There are no air pressure control systems, which is why the air pressure does not have to be adjusted between road and field use. In the same application, however, a competitor's product has to be run at 1.2 bar - and thus 0.4 bar more in comparison to Bridgestone. The VT-Tractor VF is therefore the ideal tyre for our daily requirements. "

Bridgestone tyres are used on seven John Deere tractors (from 115-210 hp) - and according to Bernhard Kappeler it should stay that way: “We are very satisfied. Not least because the tyre is so gentle on the soil and turf, our machines will continue to be equipped with the Bridgestone VT-Tractor.”
