As part of CAM’s ongoing brand awareness programme for 2020 and its continued investment in both internal and external talent and skills development, the company is extending its sponsorship of up and coming racing prospect Dan Zelos for the 2020 season.
CAM Sponsors Racing Prospect Dan Zelos
22-year-old Dan produced a string of strong performances in the 2019 Mini Challenge, where he scored two wins and nine podium finishes, placing third overall and being crowned rookie champion. The sponsorship agreement with CAM will enable Dan to continue his ongoing driving development while pursuing his goals of vying for the Mini Challenge series title and reaching the British Touring Car Championship, the UK’s premier motorsport series.
Mike Allen, managing director of CAM, says, “Dan had some terrific performances in 2019 and we liked how he grew and developed as a driver, so we are delighted to be renewing our sponsorship with such a talented sportsman. We are excited to see what he will achieve in 2020 and we look forward to helping him on the road up the standings this year towards the British Touring Car Championship and beyond.”
Dan Zelos adds, “It is great to have a sponsor like CAM that is invested in my development as a racer. I look forward to repaying the company’s faith by learning from my experiences in 2019 to make a sustained push to win the championship.
