Falken Tyre Europe, the European subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber-Industries Ltd., the fifth largest tyre manufacturer in the world, has launched a new warranty service which means that all of its tyres will be covered for five years in the face of possible defects.
The warranty, which covers all FALKEN tyres sold through an authorised or factory-mounted dealer as original equipment, applies from the date of purchase or manufacture, if there is no purchase invoice, and extends over a five-year period. This coverage will not come into effect for tyres that are over eight years old or if the tread depth is less than 2 mm.
If a tyre has an incident covered by the warranty, FALKEN will perform a compensation by means of a percentage credit at the distributor based on the remaining depth of the tread. When this depth is at least at 90%, the consumer will be able to exchange their FALKEN tyre for a new one.

Since the performance and driving experiences provided by tyres depend on many different parameters, if there is an impact, the tyre dealer, car dealership or any other FALKEN partner will review the facts in depth. If you believe that the defect or failure is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, it will be forwarded to the FALKEN technical team, which will check each particular case and respond as soon as possible.
