Ligue 2 BKT Reveals New Identity

Ligue2-BKT

Ligue de Football Professionel (LFP) has officially presented the new identity of the Ligue 2 season for 2020/21, with BKT giving its its name to the cadet championship which as from July 1, 2020 will be called Ligue 2 BKT. The title sponsorship agreement runs through to June 2024.

BKT and Ligue 2 Prepare for New Season

Among the innovations for the next season is the Ligue 2 BKT logo which has been redesigned. The three circles which make up the Ligue 2 trophy have been merged into a single element, divided into two parts to create a dynamic effect and to mirror the concept of rivalry among the clubs. The inner circle recalls the center of the soccer pitch, but also the LFP logo. Everything has been studied in detail to give exposure to the BKT brand and support it in its goal of winning name recognition among the French public.

The new identity will be widely seen: from TV adverts to the players' shirts, up to match tickets. It is an image revolution for Ligue 2 BKT with more modern graphic features linked to world of its partners.

“We are manufacturers of specialist tyres for off-highway vehicles, but we are also great lovers of sport and above all: we really love a challenge,” admits Lucia Salmaso, CEO of BKT Europe.

BKT's decision to partner up with Ligue 2 stemmed from the fact many farmers are users of BKT tyres. For them there is a rich program of projects and initiatives in which they are the center of attention and can enjoy prizes, gadgets and above all emotions, thanks to the unique experiences organised by BKT.
