Goodyear has announced the extension of its partnership with KAMAZ-master team as official tyre supplier. Both partners look forward to another successful collaboration and podium win in one of the most challenging Motorsport races in the world, the Dakar. On November 22, the KAMAZ-master trucks equipped with Goodyear tyres started their journey to Saudi Arabia for their participation in the 43rd edition of the rally-marathon on January 3, 2021.

Generally, participating trucks need to drive on standard tyres that are available to any consumer and fleet. In the 2020 rally, the KAMAZ-master team was extremely pleased with the extraordinary performance and endurance of the Goodyear ORD Off Road range. It has proved to be the perfect fit to conquer the most diverse conditions supporting the team in taking the first and second podium place.

The team has high expectations of the new advanced technical solutions, component and assembly improvements in place on the 2021 KAMAZ-master Dakar trucks. The trucks are now setting course to the port of Marseille in Southern France, where all participating vehicles will be shipped to the Arabian Peninsula.
