Nokian-Tyres

In transportation industry, product development never stops and with that in mind heavier trucks require the tyres to match, and new tyre product lines call for matching tyre retreading materials. and Nokian Tyres has now launched four new products to bring peace of mind for professional drivers.

Nokian Brings Out New Retreading Materials

Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck tyre range is the Nokian Tyres’ flagship winter tyre product line for trucks. Featuring tyres for every axle position, Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck tyres work in the most severe winter conditions. The new Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck F2 XL tyre is a special “Extra Load” version of Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck F2, carrying front axle loads of up to 10 metric tons.

“The tyre offers steady handling and superior grip even in extreme winter conditions”, says Teppo Siltanen, Product Manager at Nokian Tyres, “and adds massive load-bearing capacity needed for the most demanding timber truck, crane truck and snow plowing truck applications to name a few.”

The new Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck F2 XL will be available in the spring of 2019.

Furthermore, the Nokian Hakka Truck Steer is a front axle tyre that offers pgoodhandling in different main road conditions. Made for long and medium haul, the Nokian Hakka Truck Steer has the 3PMSF marking and was first released in 2017.

Available in the spring of 2019, the new size 385/55R22.5 further expands the applications of Nokian Hakka Truck SteerFollowing the new release, Nokian Hakka Truck series will also expand to 60 series sizes by the end of 2019, both for front and drive axle use.

The latest addition to the Nokian Noktop tyre retreading selection is Nokian Noktop 75 Super, which has a tyre tread design similar to on and off-road trailer tire Nokian R-Truck Trailer.

Nokian Noktop 75 Super is meant for retreading wide super single trailer tyres used in heavy earthmoving, timber transport and other applications on and off the road”, describes Teppo Siltanen. “Its tread pattern is optimized for local and medium haul on rough surfaces.”

The new retreads fit on casings in sizes 385/65R22.5 and 385/55R22.5. Featuring 3PMSF marking, these treads have good self-cleaning properties on soft surfaces. Replacing the old Nokian Noktop 63 Super, the new retreading material will be available in early 2019.

Later this year, there will be also retreading treads for 265/70R19.5 and 275/70R22.5 tire carcasses for dual tyre fitting.
