Rough Terrain Good Testing Ground for Magna MA04

Magna MA04

A customer for the Magna Tyres' Group in Spain is currently using the 18.00R33 Magna MA04, with the products installed on their Rigid Dump Trucks and used in demanding conditions for heavy transport purposes.

Magna MA04 Performing in Spain

Despite the intensive and frequent usage, the operator found that the tyres were  equally worn to the end of life. A brand new set Magna MA04 has now been delivered and mounted at the RDT by the company's Spanish distributor. Two of the rear positioned tyres were not completely worn, but will be changed for new ones at the time this is needed.

The Magna MA04 is specially designed for dump trucks in heavy-duty mining conditions. The improved shoulder and sidewall protection offer resistance to damage, and different compounds are available to optimize performance for different applications.

The customer has seen a reduction in operational costs per hour of the truck and due to this achievement, the quarry operator decided to equip their loader with Magna’s MA01, due to the fact that the tyre is intended for use on wheel loaders, dozers, scrapers and graders. The product boasts an aggressive non-directional tread pattern provides enhanced traction in soft underfoot conditions and good protection against cutting and abrasion.
