Long Service Award for Hankook TBR Manager


Hankook recently celebrated a long service award for one of their employees at the head office based in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Richard Ettey, Regional Sales Manager has been recognised for his 10-year service at Hankook Tyre UK Ltd.

Hankook were first introduced to the UK in the early 1980s with just two employees. The company now employs a total of 50 staff in the UK head office; 16 of whom have completed 10 years of service or more. “It is very satisfying to another of our valued UK team celebrate 10 years of service with the company. Hankook have built a very successful, committed and experienced team of people here in the UK whose hard-work and knowledge of the tyre industry have been invaluable. I want to thank Richard for his valued contribution over the last ten years and hope sincerely that he continues to grow with the company in years to come.” said Jong Jin Park, Managing Director at Hankook Tyre UK Ltd.

Richard Ettey, Regional Sales Manager said, “I joined Hankook after 40 years with Dunlop Tyres, which became Goodyear Dunlop. The last 10 years, as TBR Regional Sales Manager for the South West & South Wales, have been the best of my career. I am proud to be part of Hankook’s steady progress to global brand status which is now fully recognised as a premium brand in Car and TBR, in the UK and elsewhere. I have been especially very lucky and privileged to be part of a great TBR Team who have been hugely successful and now widely accepted as a market leader in the UK. Long may it continue.”
