Automechanika Shanghai’s Commitment to the Tyre Industry reaffirmed

Automechanika Shanghai Tyre Industry

Automechanika Shanghai, the main automotive trade fair for Asia, in its commitment to the tyre sector is continuing to embrace the tyre sector following the inaugural appearance of the REIFEN Zone last year. In this year’s edition, this sector of the trade fair, exclusively dedicated to tyres, wheels and rims will be moved to a new location, which will thus facilitate the exchange of ideas and collaboration amongst the visitors. Furthermore, within this framework, the first edition of the China International Conference on Tyre Industry Cooperation & Developments will be held, whereby the challenges that are facing the industry in China will be analysed.

China International Tyre Conference Highlights Automechanika Shanghai’s Commitment to the Tyre Industry

REIFEN will for the second-year running be one of the key pieces at Automechanika Shanghai. This specific area for the tyre sector will have a new location in Hall 7.2, together with the Chain Stores Zone and Motorsports & High Performance. This will be in order to display the latest innovations and allow exhibitors and visitors to capitalise on the interconnections between the global tyre and the post-sales automotive sectors and by the same token encourage collaboration between different players within the automotive industry.

Among REIFEN’s activities, the highlight this year will be the debut edition of the China International Conference on Tyre Industry Cooperation & Developments of the 29th of November, organised jointly by the trade fair and the British communications agency Valebridge Media Services. This conference will analyse the challenges that the tyre industry in China is facing, through a variety of presentations led by the foremost experts in the sector.

On top of this, the fairground will have a unique exhibition, whereby tyres and wheels are equipped to high performance vehicles with personalised wheels and rims with lightweight and self-sealing tyres, which will allow attendees to find out more regarding the most innovative tyre production processes. The efficiency in fuel consumption and environmental awareness will as always nowadays, have a critical role too, along with specialist tyre manufacturers for electric vehicles.

In this way, the second edition of REIFEN will be an integral supply platform for all of the supply chain, including automotive and tyre manufacturers, distributors, retailers, commercial fleets, service providers and repair workshops.

Moreover, it will be welcoming a large number of leading brands in the mould of Aeolus, Fangxing, Huasheng, Jinfei, Petlas and Pirelli to name but a few.

A World of Exclusive Advantages at the REIFEN Club

Those who are attending REIFEN and the China International Conference on Tyre Industry Cooperation & Developments, will be able to enjoy the unique advantages that are provided by the REIFEN Club. The REIFEN Club is an exclusive programme for buyers and distributors who come from sectors for tyres and associated products, through which interesting services to further enhance their visit to Automechanika Shanghai are offered. These services include accommodation offers, access to the Buyers Lounge and a business matchmaking service, to name but a few of its benefits.

Those interested in benefiting from these advantages must sent an email with an application to the following email address: auto@hongkong.messefrankfurt.com.

New Opportunities in the Tyre Sector

REIFEN made its debut in the last edition of Automechanika Shanghai. REIFEN is the main trade fair in the tyre sector and represents an important association for Automechanika. Given that tyre companies and automotive distributors offer related services, REIFEN constitutes a lucrative opportunity. The addition of REIFEN represents an enormous expansion in the spectrum of available products at Automechanika Shanghai that further attracts new groups of exhibitors and visitors to the trade fair.

Automechanika Shanghai is the main automotive trade fair in Asia. Organised by Messe Frankfurt and China National Machinery Industry International, it is one of 17 trade fairs that are held by Automechanika in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas. This edition will take place from the 28th of November until the 1st of December and will occupy 350,000m2, whilst counting on 6,250 exhibitors who will display their products and services to the 140,000 visitors that they are expecting to attend the fair on this occasion.
