Continental Reveal the Names and the New Products to be Launched for Tractors and Combined Harvesters

Continental are continuing to expand their radial range for agricultural machinery. The technological company has now revealed the name of the new tyres that are due to be launched this summer in the form of the TractorMaster.

This product in the 65 series for tractors will compliment the existing standard range of tyres that includes the Tractor70 and Tractor86. On the top of this, Continental will launch a tyre for combined harvesters in the size of 800/65R32 178 A8, that will be called the CombineMaster.

The names of the new tyres follow the strategy and concept that has been applied in all of Continental’s OTR offerings. As we have seen in the maintenance, ports and industrial models, the names of products are connected to the appropriate vehicle through the use of the word ‘Master’. The term ‘Master’ has been applied across Continental’s products, due to the fact that the products literally master the challenges and applications of the vehicle in question for any task that it is asked to perform. It is this which is a reflection of the strategy of Continental Specialty Tire, which bets on the specific design of products for every type of application and machinery, with the objective of obtaining the best operational cost for the end-user.

As a consequence of the launching and the naming of the 65 series for tractors, the radial TractorMaster tyre, which is used on terminal tractors in port applications, will now be known as the TerminalMaster from this summer.
