Nokian Tyres Present Truck & Bus Options at Elmia Lastbil 2018
Nokian Tyres is now celebrating its 120th anniversary and as this landmark occasion is brought up the company will be presenting its truck and bus portfolio at Elmia Lastbil in Jönköping, Sweden this week.

The main attractions for Nokian Tyres this year are the new Nokian R-Truck series and Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck T, which are characterised by distinct features for different needs. The new products are forming a key part of Nokian Tyres’ brand, renewing itself for future industry challenges.
The first brand new range that is being presented by Nokian concerns the Nokian R-Truck tyre product portfolio. This range is built for challenging on and off-road conditions, and is on display for the first time at Elmia Lastbil.
Combining effective highway properties with good grip, sturdiness, and self-cleaning for off-road use, Nokian R-Truck intends to deliver safety, reliability, and peace of mind. Nokian R-Truck is suitable for use in all weathers, all year round.
The economical and durable tyre is available in three varieties: Nokian R-Truck Steer, Nokian R-Truck Drive, and Nokian R-Truck Trailer. The all-new tread pattern is also available as Nokian Noktop 85 retreading material.
On top of this, Nokian Tyres are presenting some new winter truck options in the mould of the Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck T, which is also on display for the first time. This tyre is characterised by its all-season extreme grip, wide grooves to improve self-cleaning, and staggered tread pattern providing high mileage. Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck T is a much-awaited addition to Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck product family.
Elmia Lastbil will also see the Nokian E-Truck product family. This is a range of medium and regional haul tyres, which are designed especially for European roads. Built to cover long distances, Nokian E-Truck range provides a comfortable, trouble-free, and economical ride. Made with a special rubber compound, designed to minimize rolling resistance, Nokian E-Truck tyres are not only durable, but also silent, safe, and eco-friendly.
Like the Nokian R-Truck series, Nokian E-Truck comes in three varieties: Nokian E-Truck Steer, Nokian E-Truck Drive and Nokian E-Truck Trailer. Nokian E-Truck Drive is also available as Nokian Noktop 48 traction retread.
The final arm of Nokian’s arsenal that is being exhibited concerns their retreading options. The manufacturer will be presenting their retreading materials branded as Nokian Noktop during the trade fair in Sweden.
