Flogas in Safe Hands with ATS Euromaster

Flogas
Flogas Britain Ltd and ATS Euromaster have renewed their contract agreement.
ATS Euromaster has renewed a major national contract to supply, fit and service tyres for Flogas Britain Ltd, thanks to its safety accreditations and fast response times. Established more than 30 years ago, Flogas is a leading supplier of LPG, LNG and mains gas, and provides affordable and reliable energy solutions to domestic and business customers across the UK. ATS Euromaster and Flogas both hold a Royal Warrant to Her Majesty the Queen, as tyre specialists and suppliers of LPG respectively.

The company’s position as the only tyre specialist with SafeContractor, Contractors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS) and RoSPA Gold accreditation was decisive in winning the tender. It sees ATS Euromaster named primary tyre service provider across Flogas’ 500-strong fleet, which ranges from 3.5-tonne light commercial vehicles to 44-tonne articulated gas tankers.

ATS Euromaster’s fleet of more than 820 mobile service vans also played a critical role in securing the renewal due to its ability to react rapidly in the event of a tyre-related roadside emergency.

Stephen Moir, Fleet Manager at Flogas, says: “As part of our energy supply service to domestic and commercial customers nationwide, we transport bulk tankers and cylinders of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas), along with tankers of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) – so safety is our absolute priority. As a business, we work hard to keep unplanned downtime to an absolute minimum, and knowing we can access fast, professional and safe tyre support at the roadside is paramount for dealing with emergencies.”

Under the new contract, ATS Euromaster will fit Michelin new and Michelin Remix tyres, with regular inspections and proactive tyre management including regrooving, twinning and turning tyres on the rim – helping to ensure each tyre casing delivers the maximum life in service, whilst bolstering fleet safety and compliance. Flogas Britain Ltd is also taking advantage of Michelin’s free accidental tyre damage guarantee.
