Replacing Stefano Parisi, José Enrique González is now Vice President and General Manager of the Southern Region of Europe for Bridgestone. González will combine this role with his current one overseeing the Southwest of Europe. With this promotion, González will manage Spain and Portugal while also overseeing Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Romania and other Adriatic countries.
González Ready to Utilise 25 Years of Experience with Bridgestone in New Role
Having started at Bridgestone Hispania in 1997, González has worked in different departments and on various strategies within the company, including the 2012-2018 EMEA strategy for channel expansion, which involved enhancing Bridgestone’s competitiveness in Europe through strategic acquisitions and alliances across the continent.
As Parisi takes on the Vice Presidency of Solutions for Australia and New Zealand, González is looking to expand and consolidate Bridgestone’s mobility solutions in the region.
He explains, “Our sector is experiencing an unprecedented moment in time. Therefore, it is a great challenge with the opportunity that Bridgestone has offered me to expand my responsibilities to the Southern Region of Europe and to be able to contribute the experience acquired in these 25 years in the company. My goal is to offer customers in this market the most advanced products and solutions that allow them to enjoy safer, more responsible and sustainable mobility.”
