Jeff Hughes has been appointed as the new Regional Director of Specialty Tyres EMEA at Linglong Tyre. With over 25 years of industry experience, he will lead strategy and sales across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Jeff Hughes has been appointed the new Regional Director of Specialty Tyres at Linglong for the EMEA region, effective 1st June, 2025. Hughes is responsible for strategy and sales for the Specialty Tyres division in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In the newly created role, he will work closely with the respective product and marketing teams. With the aim of establishing Linglong Tyre as one of the leading specialty tyre providers in the market.
Previously, Hughes joined Maxam Tyres (Sailun Group), where he successfully led the European Specialty Tyres replacement business as Sales Director. Before that, he spent over 20 years in various senior management positions at Goodyear Tyre & Rubber Company worldwide.
“I am very much looking forward to my new role at Linglong Tyre. And hope to achieve the ambitious goals together with my colleagues in the EMEA region, drawing on my more than 25 years of experience in the tyre industry,” says Hughes.
“Our most important task will be to optimise existing customer contacts and develop new customers, and thus further strengthen our company’s market position.”
