At its stand in Hall 24, C34, Giti Tire will present its new Ecoroad range, comprising drive, steer and trailer tyres, all featuring an ‘A’ rating for Rolling Resistance Coefficient (RRC).
The Giti GDL272 Ecoroad long-haul drive tyre is already available to order in 315/70R22.5 and is the first Giti tyre in Europe to carry an ‘A’ RRC rating. It will be displayed alongside the Giti GSL271 Ecoroad steer tyre in the same size and the Giti GTL273 Ecoroad trailer tyre in 385/55R22.5, both of which are scheduled to become available in the fourth quarter.
Giti will also showcase the Giti GAM838, a next-generation steer tyre for mixed-service applications. Recently expanded to include 385/65R22.5 and 13R22.5 sizes alongside the existing 315/80R22.5, the tyre features a Grade C rolling resistance rating, representing a one-grade improvement. Its new tread compound is also said to reduce high-abrasion particle emissions by 20%.
The Giti GDM687 and GSR237EVO will complete the commercial vehicle tyre line-up at IAA Transportation 2026.
Sustainability will be another key focus, with Giti highlighting its second consecutive EcoVadis Platinum accreditation, placing the company among the top 1% of businesses assessed globally for sustainability performance. The company will also showcase how its products and services can help OEMs and fleets reduce environmental impacts while managing operating costs, including through maintenance support, RFID tyre monitoring, retreading, marketing services and technical assistance.
Antonio Palummo, Senior Manager TBR – Product Development and Technical Service, Giti Tire, said: “We are one of the top truck and bus OEM suppliers and fleet partners in China and the Far East, and with our range of tyres, fleet management solutions, technical support, manufacturing capabilities, delivery networks and environmental credentials, we are ready to enter the European OEM market.
“IAA Transportation 2026 marks the very first step in the realisation of our goal, and what better place to make our targets known, while reaffirming our fantastic fleet offering and replacement tyre market position, than at Europe’s largest and most significant trade fair for commercial vehicles,” Palummo added.
