Fortune and Austone celebrated Luke Garett’s first victory at the FIA European Truck Racing Championship (ETRC) together with international guests.
The Racing Weekend
Austone and Fortune, the official sponsors of British truck pilot Luke Garrett, celebrated his two podiums and his first Chrome victory in the ETRC during the race weekend in Zolder, Belgium. After two consistent results on Saturday (6th and 4th place despite a time penalty), Sunday’s podium was his: 1st and 2nd place.
“The results are a true testament to the teamwork and dedication behind the scenes,” Garrett commented on his success. “Many thanks to Fortune and Austone Tires for their incredible support – together we show what’s possible on and off the racetrack.”
Ari Salah, Marketing Manager Europe for both brands, emphasised the value of sponsorship that combines racing with hospitality: “It was a pleasure to welcome our customers in Zolder and to share great moments – both at the racetrack and in the evenings in the city of Hasselt.”
The event highlighted the international customer network behind Fortune and Austone. Among the many guests, Point S Germany represented Fortune Tires, while LTD from Belgium represented Austone Tires. TRT Greece travelled to Zolder to cheer for Garrett. From Ireland, Euro Tyres Sales was represented by Darragh Hunt, while Lithuanian Austone customer Tadas Mikalauskas also attended.
Off the racetrack, customers enjoyed two dinner evenings in nearby Hasselt, marked by a warm atmosphere, live music, and good spirits. These evenings brought partners together and reflected the spirit of the two brands: performance on track, relationships off track.
Adrian Costache, Commercial Director Europe, emphasised: “The event once again showed that motorsport provides a powerful platform for Fortune and Austone to demonstrate performance, innovation, and reliability in demanding environments – while at the same time deepening relationships with a growing European customer base.”
With the success in Belgium in the books, Forunte and Austone now look ahead to the next round of the FIA ETRC in Le Mans.
