CAM has developed TiDaeX compliant software, which enables tyre service providers to send and (optionally) receive breakdown and other service work directly into the mobile tyre service module of Fitter-Force from organisations such as DTM, Tyre Assist, Tyrenet, and ULM.
New Software
These features are an addition to the multiple tyre manufacturers integrated into TiDaeX, where a connection between them and the dealer exists. This compliance means that tyre service providers, using the requisite version of Fitter-Force, can generate incremental business from connected breakdown service providers by issuing the work directly to their fitters and receive payment more swiftly due to the near real-time exchange of digital data and paperwork.
The Fitter-Force platform reduces many back-office costs and inaccuracies associated with the manual completion of service work for small through to the very largest fleet tyre service operators, while also improving customer service through operational responsiveness. It is deeply integrated with e-jobsheet via the open-access, presenting an end-to-end view of fleet service operations from work request through to job completion and subsequent payment, on a job-by-job basis.
Fitter-Force also incorporates a system for effective resource allocation, job launch (to the e-jobsheet app with stock tied to the work), pricing, purchasing, stock control, invoicing and accounting, as well as a full-featured point of sale capability and comprehensive views of customer service activities by account.
There is also a Fitter-Force Van Stock option, meaning all stock on vans (including COP, casings, new and remoulded and more) is viewable across the enterprise in near real-time.
Steve Daly, director of CAM and mobileIT@pps, says, “TiDaeX is the fulcrum from which integrated breakdown service providers can expand their service and business opportunities, and create greater dealer advocacy. This latest development creates an easy-to-use TiDaeX compliant dealer business software platform, enabling customers to receive work directly from connected organisations (where agreed between parties), and upon job completion by fitters, this transactional data and digital document is systematically updated into their integrated stock, billing and accounting system whilst simultaneously shared with the relevant, connected Breakdown and/or manufacturer contract holders.”
