As a part of its Tyres for a Good Cause Initiative, Bridgestone, together with point S, has donated a set of tyres, including fitting, worth approximately €800, to the Schwieging Fire Brigade.
The Bridgestone Initiative
The new Bridgestone tyres will be fitted to the brigade’s all-wheel-drive multipurpose vehicle, and Fire Chief Simon Roßgodere, together with the crew, gratefully accepted the support.
Contact with Bridgestone was established by Jürgen Grübl, who has operated his automotive workshop in Kammerwetzdorf for over 30 years and has supported local fire brigades for many years. Mayor Josef Hasenöhrl acknowledged this commitment and highlighted the practical value of the initiative for the fire service.
Bridgestone tyres, specifically designed to meet the operational demands of fire brigade service, have been provided at a particularly appropriate time, especially in view of the ongoing winter operations, emphasised Bridgestone District Manager Stella Schaller, who presented the tyre set to the Schwieging Fire Brigade together with Jürgen Grübl.
