Bridgestone: Andy Mathias Marketing Lead for Northern Europe

Bridgestone has appointed Andy Mathias as Head of Marketing for Northern Europe, where he will lead marketing initiatives across 18 markets, including Germany, Poland, and the UK.

Mathias Embraces New Challenges in Northern Europe

“I’m pleased to share that since February, I’ve moved into a new role as Head of Marketing for Northern Europe,” said Andy Mathias, Head of Marketing for Northern Europe, Bridgestone EMEA, in a recent LinkedIn post.

This appointment builds on nearly 30 years of experience with Bridgestone. Since the 1990s, Mathias has held a wide range of roles across the commercial and marketing sides of the business, including leadership positions in fleet and retail marketing. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in driving growth, strengthening brand presence, and leaving a lasting mark on Bridgestone EMEA’s operations.

In his new role, Mathias will oversee marketing activities across the UK, Germany, Poland, and 15 additional European markets. His remit covers all aspects of marketing, from digital, brand, product, and trade initiatives to supporting PR and Communications across the region.

Reflecting on his new position at Bridgstone, Mathias added, “I’m relishing the new challenge and excited to work with an amazing, multicultural team. I’m also proud that even after 27 years at Bridgestone EMEA, I’m still getting opportunities to progress and challenge myself!”
