BKT navigates a tough year in 2025
Despite this being a tough year for the entire industry, BKT is proud to have navigated through a dynamic global market with resilience and strategic agility, achieving significant milestones and having led sales – for both its distributors and dealers – in a satisfactory way. This ongoing commitment led BKT to further consolidate its leadership position in the Off-Highway tyre segment, paving the way for a 2026 of high expectations.
As for 2025, one of the undeniable high points of the year was BKT’s capacity to address the delays of the supply chain, restocking our customers and their inventory timely. Another important point was the capability of providing a consistent and regular flow of service levels, even amid complexities.
In terms of products, 2025 highlighted an exceptional performance in the agricultural sector, with positive results achieved in construction industry as well. A pivotal role was played by a robust demand for BKT specialised radial tyres, driven by strong market adoptions of key products from their advanced Very High Flexion (VF) range.
VF products are specifically designed to reduce soil compaction and improve fuel efficiency, crucial in meeting farmers’ request for more sustainable and efficient solutions. This explains BKT’s strong investment in developing cutting-edge tyres and technologies, as a result of a combination of superior durability, efficiency and quality.
Looking at 2026, BKT remains optimistic, with its next ambitions focused on innovation and market consolidation in its core businesses, such as agriculture, while progressively strengthening its position in rubber tracks, mining, industrial and construction segments. Also, in line with BKT’s strategic roadmap to 2030, the company plans to enhance and expand our production facility in Bhuj, expected to be operational in the second half of 2026. BKT will also continue to reinforce its presence in the specialty carbon black segment to position itself as a strategic partner for major tire manufacturers.
Geographically, BKT’s growth efforts will focus on the Americas, India, and selected international markets, while maintaining a steady presence in Europe.
Thus, remaining focused on the acceleration of our sustainability journey, from the exploration of advanced materials to reduce the carbon footprint of BKT’s overall operations.
