To support its fleet of 23 trucks on demanding terrain in the Var and neighbouring regions, AROK chose Hankook SmartWork tyres. Hankook shared its success story of working with AROK on demanding construction sites.
Hankook on Construction Sites
Founded in 2016, AROK is based in Puget-Ville, Var, France, and operates a fleet of 23 trucks, mainly dedicated to transport within the Toulon region, with daily journeys of up to 350 km. The company also operates in neighbouring regions, including Alpes-Maritimes and Bouches-du-Rhône. Arok specialises in transporting materials for public works, road construction, and various networks, as well as in transporting equipment. In addition to these services, the company also offers truck rental with a driver, as well as a low-loader for transporting heavy equipment.
“Hankook tyres offer an excellent quality-price ratio, with competitive rates and performance perfectly suited to our specific needs on roads and near construction sites. Thanks to the analytical management of tyre costs by vehicle registration, we can better control our budget. Since tyres account for 30% of our expenses, choosing Hankook allows us to effectively manage this share of our overall cost of ownership,” explains Corinne Folickmann, Managing Director of AROK Transports.
For AROK Transports, Hankook SmartWork tyres provide several significant advantages. Thanks to stone ejectors, the risk of punctures is greatly reduced, extending tyre lifespan and minimising maintenance costs. The zigzag grooves and multi-angled sipes ensure better manoeuvrability as well as optimal braking performance — essential in difficult working conditions. In addition, increased tread rigidity and reduced tread temperature help extend mileage while lowering fuel consumption. This allows AROK to achieve long-term savings while optimising the safety and performance of its fleet.
