Lastly, imports of construction, mining, and industrial tyres also experienced strong growth of 50.2%, with 19,240 units imported. Vietnam was the main contributor, supplying 55% of the total (10,660 units).
Óscar Bas, Executive Secretary, ADINE: “The data for the first half of 2025 clearly show a strong recovery in imports of Asian tyres into Spain. This growth is the direct result of several factors, including geopolitical stability in key regions and a normalisation of freight costs. The significant increase in segments such as agricultural and construction tyres, particularly from India and Vietnam, reflects sustained demand and the strategic diversification of supply chains. While the EUDR regulation and anti-dumping measures remain a concern, importers are adapting to the new regulatory landscape.”
