Linglong Tire has appointed Sherif Degheidy as Director of Speciality Tyres MEA, where he brings more than a decade of regional leadership experience to drive strategy, sales growth, and market expansion across the Middle East and Africa.
Leadership appointment to strengthen speciality tyres strategy in MEA
Since 9 February 2026, Sherif Degheidy has been the Director, Speciality Tyres, for the MEA region for Linglong. In this position, he is responsible for strategy and sales for the Speciality Tyres division across the Middle East and Africa and reports to Jeffrey Hughes, Director, EMEA. In his newly created role, he will work closely with the product and marketing teams to establish Linglong Tire as a leading speciality tyre provider.
Degheidy joins from Goodyear, where he successfully led the Speciality Tyres business across the Middle East and East and West Africa for the past twelve years, most recently as OTR Sales Manager. Prior to that, he worked for KAL Tire, managing tyre operations at a gold mine in Egypt. This background gives him extensive experience across industrial, commercial and customer environments.

Sherif is an Egyptian citizen and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Power Engineering.
