According to the latest Mobility Sweden data, LCV registrations in Sweden have finally grown after 16 months of declining.
LCV Registrations Finally Grew in Sweden
Mobility Sweden shows a total of 3,079 LCV registrations in Sweden in September 2025, representing a 17% growth, after over a year of declines. Year-to-date data, however, shows an 18% decline, with 23,713 units registered. Volkswagen, Ford and Mercedes-Benz were among the most purchased vehicles in this category in Sweden.
There was a total of 477 heavy truck registrations in Sweden in September 2025, which represents a 3.5% growth. Year-to-date data shows a 5% decline, with 3,666 vehicles. Scania, Volvo and Mercedes-Benz were among the most purchased vehicles in this category.
Bus registrations grew by 115% in September 2025 in Sweden, with 112 registrations. Year-to-date data shows an even higher growth of 197%, with 1,538 units. MAN, Mercedes-Benz and Golden Dragon were among the most purchased buses.
