BKT Bhuj plant achieves five-star grading in British Safety Council occupational health and safety audit.
Commitment to Best Practices and Employee Wellbeing at BKT Bhuj Plant
BKT has completed a best practice Five Star Occupational Health and Safety Audit conducted by the British Safety Council, demonstrating its commitment towards the continual improvement of its health and safety management systems and associated arrangements.
Auditors conducted a comprehensive, quantified, and robust evaluation of the India-based tyre manufacturer’s health and safety policies and practices. They reviewed documents, interviewed senior management, employees, and key stakeholders, and sampled operational activities.
Fifty Component Elements Measured and Reviewed
The audit measured performance against key health and safety management best practice indicators. As a next step, the auditors conducted a detailed review of over fifty component elements.
The British Safety Council conducted the audit and, as a result, awarded the BKT Bhuj plant a five-star rating. Notably, this achievement reflects its status as a best practice organisation.
