Midland Tyre Control: Recycling Your Miles

Bilston based tyre recycling specialists Midland Tyre Control have recently made a number of key investments in plant and vehicles to develop the company’s business as experts in casing management, tyre reclamation and major repairs.
According to Managing Director Mark Hitchcroft, the company has made significant
divested its service operation to Birmingham based Lodge Tyres, with whom the company continues to work in close partnership. Mark said; “There has been a seamless transition of ownership of the service business and we continue to carry out all the disposal and reclamation work for Lodge. The move has allowed us to focus on our core strengths in
investments in machinery within the tyre repair workshop including £60,000 in a new TRM autoclave in May as well as additional investments in the air compressor and air receiving tanks. In addition MTC has purchased brand new 26 tonne trucks to add the company’s growing fleet of vehicles.
At the same time MTC has
casing management and major repairs.”
According to Operations Manager in the Major Repair Plant, Steve Gutteridge, MTC now have the capacity to carry out up to 1200 major repairs a month offering a seven day service and covering over half the country. The company uses Tech tyre repair materials. Mark emphasises; “Midland
