New MD for ATS Euromaster
         ATS Euromaster have announced the appointment of Peter Allen as the company’s new Group Managing
Director. Allen, who was previously Commercial Director of Michelin Canada, replaces Ian Stuart, who retired at the end of May 2013 after seven years in the role.
Stuart, who during the last three years, has overseen a £14 million investment in the ATS Euromaster network, now plans to pursue a number of consultancy projects both within and outside the tyre industry. Allen, 50, and originally from the UK, joined the company in early May and took over as
Group Managing Director on 1 June 2013.
             Giti Tire has been named ‘Top Commercial Vehicle Tyre Brand’ in a comprehensive study organised by China’s leading CV magazine. Commercial Motor World’s survey involved live interviews with 110,000 participants within China over a six month period and covered 24 tyre brands. At its conclusion, Giti Tire was given the accolade of a Customer Satisfaction Award.

  Treadsetters Add Falken Brand
Treadsetters, the Telford-based truck tyre wholesaler, has announced that it will be adding the Falken truck and bus tyre range to its fast expanding brand portfolio. The move, says UK Wholesale Manager Geoff Priest, will allow the company to capitalise on an opening in the market for mid-range commercial tyres.
