Agricultural and Industrial Tyres

The National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA) has announced that it is launching a new Responsible Repairer Group for companies providing major repairs for TBR, OTR, Agricultural and Plant & Equipment tyres. 

Imerys, the supplier of mineral-based specialty solutions, reports a significant reduction in tyre replacement and vehicle downtime since installing a TyreWatch remote monitoring service at its quarry in Furzebrook, Dorset.

Bridgestone’s agricultural tyre offering has continued appealing to farmers and contractors, after the company doubled the period of warranty cover on its extensive range of AG radial drive products to 10 years. 

Sisters Sandra and Leticia Civera run Neumáticos Civera, two workshops that are part of the BestDrive network, with the aim of future development of the business. After moving to this new 2,400 m2 location, the workshop offers tyre and mechanical services to all types of vehicles, as well as fleet services and roadside assistance. 

Kleber has launched a new generation of its Topker agricultural tyre range, featuring IF (improved flexion) technology for the first time. The Kleber Topker IF is specifically designed to improve grip, comfort and productivity for high horsepower tractors delivering more than 200hp. 

Giti Tire is targeting the small ‘stop-start’ city bus and 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle markets with the launch of its Giti GAU867v1 all-position tyre in size 215/75R17.5.
