With the BKT Network releasing the third episode of its Global Trends series, the feature focuses on the future generation of farmers and what agricultural tools they will use going forward.

The final instalment of the winter tyre feature concerns CAM, with Steve Daly the company’s Commercial Director giving his thoughts on how leveraging CAM’s product offering can help tyre dealers stay ahead of the game when it comes to stock management and avoiding the potential pitfalls from having dormant, unsold product in your warehouse by the time summer arrives.

The third and final part of our deep dive into the launch of Farming Simulator 22 and a host of tyre manufacturers announcing their participation in the latest incarnation of the popular video game concerns Continental, who announced at the end of September that their products would be available for gamers to play with in the virtual world.

Agritechnica has been cancelled for 2022 after careful consideration from the organisers, the VDMA Landtechnik and the Agritechnica exhibitor advisory, and citing the pandemic and regulations uncertainty, the team in collaboration with the DLG (German Agricultural Society) have decided that exhibiting in 2022 poses too great a risk. The planning is now for Agritechnica 2023, which will take place between November 12-18.

For the fourth part of our Winter Tyres feature, Commercial Tyre Business spoke to Tony Stapleton, the UK Head of Group Fleet Sales at Continental about how legislation across Europe is driving changes in winter tyre production, as well as how the UK winter tyre market is more closely aligned with Europe than first expected.

 

 

Part 2 of our mini-feature continues looking into the growing trend of tyre manufacturers having their products used in the latest release of the popular Farming Simulator video games series, developed produced and published by GIANTS Software. This time out the thoughts of Michelin and its Head of Global Marketing and Communication –Brand Licensing, Mike Lawton were gathered.

 

Since the start of November, Commercial Tyre Business has received a variety of press releases from tyre manufacturers within the agricultural space all along the same lines, promoting the appearance of their tyres within the upcoming Farming Simulator 22 video game, published by GIANTS Software.
