The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has announced at the 2022 Waste Expo that a new formulation of its popular Endurance WHA waste haul tyre is to be made with a renewable soybean oil compound. 

Continental CombineMaster and CombineMaster VF tyres are now combineable with ContiPressureCheck - a unique tyre monitoring system that will help to prevent downtime this harvest.

Continental has added new tools for quick TPMS service and simple tyre management. One of the new tools is the Autodiagnos Tire 300, which has an integrated RFID module and camera and is suitable for fleets to use on touchscreens.

Continental’s new scorecard features for TIS-Web utilise DTCO data to give a clearer picture of driver performance and violations. An additional list of the ten most frequent violations aids fleets to take quick action and providing training for their drivers. Additionally, there is an early warning system which notifies fleet operators in good time of impending fines or loss of their EU community licence.

As tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) will become a compulsory fitment on all newly registered trucks, trailers, buses and coaches from 2024 onwards across Europe, Goodyear is preparing UK fleets which operate on European roads.
